Renowned for being estate grown and hand picked from long established vines, this Shiraz is voluptuous, rich and dense, and a truly fine proponent of Heathcote shiraz. Flavours include black cherry, plums, blackberries, bitter chocolate and anise spice.

Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Winner of Sydney's Royal Show Best Extra Virgin Olive Oil in 2006, Redesdale Estate's home-grown olives are grown on biodynamic principles. Collected by hand, the olives retain the integrity of the fruit. They are pressed at a local olive press, filtered and the oil bottled. Each vintage, on analysis, has been classified as of extra-virgin status.
In the Inaugural Olive Oil tasting in Sydney during 2004, the Redesdale Estate oil was judged third best of Australian Olive Oils. In November 2005, it was described as one of the top two in Australia. Rated fourth best Australian Olive Oil in all classes at Sydney Royal show in 2006, Redesdale Estate's Olive Oil is continuing to be noticed.
Australian Gourmet Pages writer, Franz Scheurer wrote of his experience at Redesdale Estate. He describes the oil as 'vividly green, quite spicy and full of ethereal aromas. This is a fine oil, a mixture of green and ripe olives, full of life.'
Food critic Andrew Wood, of Divine Food & Wine Magazine, wrote 'this is a seriously good oil. It's the intensity of the peppery fruity, cut grass characters that blow you away. Super intense and super smooth. Redesdale is by far and away the best olive oil I have tried for a long time…a great oil that pushes the benchmark in Aussie olive oils.'
